Ziggy Cup 2
The one you can have sex with.
Ziggy Cup is the only reusable disc that can be used during sex, providing all the perks of a cup plus mess-free period sex.
This breakthrough cup is made entirely of petal-thin silicone and flat fit design, which means Ziggy Cup can’t be felt at all — no matter what you’re doing. For convenience’s sake, Ziggy comes with a hygienic silicone case that easily fits in your backpack or handbag. Just wash your cup after use and store it in its discreet carry case.
Ziggy Cup is made of 100% medical-grade silicone . This innovative menstrual cup is healthy for your body because there are no odors, dryness, or irritation. Ziggy covers light to heavier flow while being an ultimate reusable and eco-friendly period solution.
The new Ziggy is even lighter, like a petal inside the body. It has a double rim and a ribbed tab to allow slip-free removal. This also add protection from leakage. Thanks to the special tilt and ring for easier removal, Ziggy 2 is easier to use. This unique menstrual disc has a specific shape and special purpose.
It also has a new outfit, available in two colours and two sizes. Ziggy A (50 ml / 1.69. oz.) is a light pink menstrual disc intended for those with a shorter cervix and lighter to medium-intensive period flow. Ziggy B is cerise, a bit bigger (76 ml / 2.5. oz.) and created for people with a higher cervix and heavier flow.
How Can I Use It?
It’s very easy to use, which is why many women choose Ziggy as their first disc. The ideal option would be to sit on the toilet (or try different positions) and do the following:
Squeeze – Use your thumb and forefinger to squeeze the sides of the rim together to form a figure eight.
Insert – Insert the back rim of the cup first and use your index finger to push the cup. Angle the cup back and slightly down so that the rim moves behind your cervix.
Placement – Tuck the front rim up behind your pelvic bone to correctly position the cup around your cervix to collect your flow. If your disc is inserted properly, you won’t have problems with leaking.
Removal – It’s so easy that Ziggy can even be removed in a public toilet. Just keep in mind that you have to have clean and disinfected hands and soap, water and toilet paper around. Hygiene is always a must because we want to avoid bacterial infection or any other infections.
Use your finger and hook it behind the front rim of the inserted cup. Gently pull the cup out while keeping it horizontal to avoid spillage.
Is A Menstrual Disc For Me?
Ziggy can be worn by anyone who menstruates and anyone who wants to feel fearless during the period. It’s an affordable product that doesn’t compromise on quality and lasts you years.
Reusable menstrual discs are easy to insert and feel like nothing is there. Ziggy A and B give you the ultimate confidence in any situation with their leak-proof ‘anatomy’. They also offer 8 hours of non-stop period protection. Because of the way Ziggy rests below the cervix, it catches your flow entirely so that you can even enjoy mess-free period sex. This menstrual disc is also one of the best options for someone’s first disc – for those who have never used a menstrual cup before. It is currently the only menstrual cup in this shape on the market.
Are You Sure I Can Have It During Sex?
Yes! That’s was one of the focuses when it was first being designed. Here are the features that make it sex-friendly:
- It has a flat-fit design for absolute comfort & room for penetration;
- Leak-proof double rim;
- Ribbed tab for slip-free removal;
- Up to 8 hours of non-stop protection;
- Unlike a tampon, it collects blood rather than absorbing it (less risk of toxic shock syndrome);
- Healthy for your body: no odours, dryness, or irritation (gentle for the vagina’s natural pH balance);
- Covers light to heavy flows.
Ziggy Cup 2 comes with a ribbed tab to help you with:
- Slip-free removal – hook the tip of your finger and gently pull the cup out.
- Orientation of the cup – this tab is located in the front of your cup – which means it needs to be away from your cervix and pelvic bone.
